You guessed it; it's all about me: Piet Bos, currently living in Valencia, Spain after 10 years in Beijing, China.
In the Vendeé Globe virtual non-stop round the world sailing race my two boats Blanquilla and otherway have just met and passed each other.
With my boat “otherway” in the Vendee Globe Virtual Regatta I am currently rounding Cape Horn in the “other” direction.
Whereas my other boat Blanquilla that sails the race in the “correct” direction constantly has the wind in the back, this route is proving to be a constant challenge!

For this edition of the Volvo Ocean Race, stealth mode has been introduced. This is new tactical initiative that gives the crews one opportunity on each of the longer legs to have their location hidden from position reports and the public for 12 hours.
